Adoption timeline

March 29^th – Mailed application to AAA
April 1^st – Accepted into Ethiopia program
April 5^th – First home study visit (couples visit)
April 10^th – Second home study visit (my interview and kids) house tour
April  16^th – Third and final home study visit (Mark interview)
April 24th – Mailed USCIS I600a
April 25th –  Mailed contract to AAA
April 29th - Reviewed final version of home study (all done but FBI clearance)
May 4th - FBI Clearance arrived
May 9th - Home Study officially done and in my hands.
                   Mailed the completed home study to USCIS
May 18th - Yard Sale for adoption raised $899.00
May 22nd - Certified dossier with the Secretary of State
May 25th - Second Yard Sale - Grand total raised $1,300
June 14th - USCIS Fingerprints
June 28th - USCIS 'APPROVAL'  I171-H form  (final paper to the dossier)
June 29th and 30th - Hoss's Fundraiser weekend
July 1st - Finished certification of dossier
July 2nd - Mailed Dossier to Agency
July 3rd - Dossier arrived at Agency
July 15th - Dossier arrived in Washington, DC for authentication
July 26th - Dossier arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
August - Waiting ........
September 16th - One-on-One Travel Consultation at our local 'Travel Health Program Clinic'.   
                                 Received our recommended vaccinations and perscriptions.
November 3rd - ORPHAN SUNDAY 2013. Still waiting on 'Referral'... 12 weeks and counting.
